When an attempt is made to separate the cylinders during their attraction, they continue to pull towards each other, demonstrating a significant force acting between them. Once the motors are halted, the cylinders naturally return to their original positions, only to be drawn together again upon restarting the motors.
This lead us to conclude that when two cylinders rotate in opposite directions while submerged in water, they experience an attractive force due to the rotational dynamics of the fluid around them.
