The experiments escalated with the introduction of N52 grade magnets, which are significantly stronger. These 5/8 inch by 5/8 inch magnets recorded magnetic fields over 5,700 Gauss. The results demonstrated that not only did they fall slower when repelling each other, but the discrepancy in fall times between attraction and repulsion soared. When repelling, these magnets fell 36 seconds slower compared to when they were attracted, representing a staggering 100% difference.
