The first task on the agenda was to replace the knobs, enhancing both aesthetics and usability. Additionally, plans were made to add brass pieces to specific areas of the receiver for both functionality and style.
One of the most crucial updates was the replacement of the electrolytic filter capacitor, which is essential for the stability of the receiver's power supply. In this case, a new, taller electrolytic filter was selected, and the process involved clipping the old component out, securing the new one with screws, and carefully soldering the connections to ensure a reliable link.
