Indicator efforts to bridge the gap between science and the paranormal are not isolated to Hutchison. In 1998, a consortium of around 1500 scientists in Europe participated in a project aimed at capturing video signals purportedly from beyond. This ambitious endeavor also included attempts to record voices of the departed, contributing further to the growing interest in understanding—or proving—the existence of the supernatural realm.
Despite efforts such as these, the scientific community remains divided. Renowned physicist Michio Kaku and others have expressed skepticism about these efforts, instead advocating for the need to apply rigorous scientific principles to claim any legitimacy for the existence of ghosts.
