Part 6/8:
Ship Components and Canadian Naval Memorabilia
The collection also features extensive ship-related artifacts from various naval vessels, notably from Canada. Items include gun parts from HMCS Columbia and other wartime ships, such as gun control system components from the 1970s and 1950s. These are scattered throughout the collection space, accompanied by vintage sights, mechanisms, and other ship hardware.
Interestingly, the collector notes the use of spray paint and masking tape on some pieces—possibly for display or preservation—to maintain the authenticity of these historic parts. There are also numerous unopened, brand-new Bofors barrels, indicating ongoing efforts to expand or restore their naval collection.
