When measuring voltage, the changes were striking. Without coils, the voltage hovered around 20 volts. After inserting two coils into series between the antenna and the circuit, the voltage skyrocketed, initially surpassing 40 volts, and then escalating further as the measurement continued.
Rapid Voltage Increase and Safety Considerations
As readings progressed, the voltage increased rapidly, reaching levels well above the component ratings—many components rated only for 50 volts, some tolerating up to 55 volts. The voltage crest at 76 volts and was still rising at the time of recording, which prompted concern about potential damage to the components.
