Paul relocated his setup to a different part of his yard, moving from a corner near overhead power lines and an easement to a more remote front corner. This shift was aimed at eliminating interference from nearby power lines, as Paul clarified that the power lines run underground in the easement and should not influence his measurements.
He noted that his voltage readings had previously been high—around 66 volts—and that recent measurements were somewhat lower, partly due to the difficulty of driving a ground rod into very hard soil. The depth of the ground rod significantly influences the readings, with a deeper installation correlating to higher voltages.
