The first set of experiments compares the coil's behavior over aluminum plates of different thicknesses. Starting with a thin 1/8-inch aluminum sheet, the coil successfully levitates just under one inch above the surface. When switching to a 3-inch thick aluminum plate, the levitation height increases noticeably to about 1.5 inches, indicating thicker metals can support higher levitation, likely due to their magnetic field penetration limits.
