He aims to make sure that coil ends and pipe connections are perfectly straight and tight, which should lead to more reliable and reproducible measurements. Paul’s goal is to eliminate variables introduced by mechanical imperfections, allowing for clearer analysis of the electrostatic phenomena he's investigating.
