During the demonstration, Paul measures emerging voltage levels and discusses ways to enhance energy capture:
Antenna height: Raising the antenna increases exposure to ambient radiation, resulting in higher voltages. In the demonstration, lifting the antenna significantly boosts voltage readings from under one volt to over nine volts.
Antenna length and environment: Longer antennas and higher placement generally yield better results. He also notes that grounding depth has less impact than the height and length of the antenna.
Adding coils: To further amplify energy harvesting, Paul introduces a coil connected in series with the antenna, effectively creating a longer conductive pathway. He prepares to demonstrate how this increases energy capture further.
