The new collector installed at the top of the setup includes an antenna extending from its end, which is integral to the overall configuration. The antenna's connection involves a yellow wire, likened to a clothesline, which is passive and doesn't directly influence the circuit's voltage. The antenna runs down to the coil, connecting at its top, with the bottom of the coil connected back to the circuit, creating a series configuration. The ground connection is established via a black wire, and interestingly, two separate ground points—both about five feet above and below ground—are employed to provide stable grounding conditions.
