Starting around 2012, they began acquiring Oerlikon cannons—antiaircraft guns originally designed in Switzerland—mostly obtained at scrap prices from various countries including the United States, Greece, the UK, and the Netherlands. These acquisitions were all properly deactivated and shipped across international borders, showcasing their dedication and network within the collector community.
Their collection includes eleven Oerlikon cannons, alongside other artillery pieces scattered across the globe. This fascination isn’t solely about possession; it’s intertwined with a desire to uncover and preserve history, much of which is often buried or forgotten.
