The story begins with the acquisition of a rare Metropolitan Vickers 90mm anti-aircraft gun, a formidable piece of military hardware from the late 20th century. Purchased in the late 1970s from Amick Salvage in North Vancouver, this relic of wartime technology was once part of the JP Fell Armoury inventory, associated with the 103rd Squadron and the navy's cadet section.
