First, they sought help at a local hospital but felt that the staff there were unhelpful. Pursuing better care, they moved through medical facilities, eventually landing at the Howard Memorial Hospital. There, they encountered a brilliant surgeon specializing in the condition they were suffering from. The surgeon performed two operations—a significant event, as they note this was the first time they've undergone surgery in many years.

Despite feeling under the weather, there's an unmistakable resilience and a sense of gratitude for the quality of care received, especially at a hospital with a rich history of service.
