Part 4/12:
Howard Memorial Hospital has left a profound impression on me. The staff and doctors, especially Dr. Bone, exemplify professionalism, kindness, and skill. I jokingly refer to him as "Bones"—a nod to Star Trek—and affectionately teased him during my recent check-up. Despite the seriousness of my condition, the atmosphere at the hospital has been surprisingly positive, and I feel grateful for their care.
I continue to receive antibiotics and have not taken vitamins in over a month, which I know I should correct soon. The hospital uses a patient portal that allows me to track my recovery digitally, providing a sense of connection and reassurance during this slow healing process.
