Part 5/9:
Unique and Significant Artifacts
Among the treasures are items like a shipboard radio with brass handles, an extensive collection of vintage receivers—including VLF, HF, and UHF transceivers from the 1990s—and large-scale pieces such as a VLF radio receiver, gifted years ago by a collector. These artifacts are stored meticulously, emphasizing their value and significance.
Building Antennas and Working with High-Voltage Equipment
In addition to restoring devices, the collector has built portable antenna systems using various wires and shapes to optimize frequency reception. These antennas involve different designs—some multi-bent configurations optimized for specific signals—reflecting a deep understanding of radio wave propagation and antenna engineering.
