The Result: First Successful Imaging of the ISS
The successful capture was a milestone. Although the images were not perfect—some noise was present due to exposure settings and ISO choices—the shots clearly showed the silhouette of the ISS against the Moon. The images revealed distinctive features such as large solar panels and radiators, matching official NASA schematics of the station's structure.
Furthermore, the creator had simultaneously recorded the translation of the event on video, showing the moment of transit and matching it with the still images. By overlaying multiple frames in Photoshop and applying noise reduction techniques, he enhanced the clarity, significantly improving the detail of the captured object.
