This packet crafting reveals a critical security flaw—there appears to be no authentication beyond IP addresses, which UDP protocols inherently lack. Since UDP does not establish connection states or handshake procedures, spoofing IP addresses to impersonate other players or inject fake data becomes feasible. The researcher built scripts to generate or replay packets, injecting them into the LAN environment, raising the question: Can an attacker manipulate game traffic or disrupt gameplay by sending malicious packets?
