Part 6/13:
Ellipal Titan 2
I categorize the Ellipal Titan 2 here again for emphasizing its air-gapped QR scanning method and sturdy aluminum build. Although its closed-source firmware and cumbersome firmware updating process deter some users, its security emphasis and large display make it worthwhile. It earns a B.
A Tier: Solid, Practical, and Secure
Bitbox
Bitbox supports Bitcoin and, in the multi-chain edition, Ethereum and Litecoin—though the latter feels outdated as Litecoin’s importance wanes. Its navigation with touch sensors feels awkward, and the device’s build quality is below expectations given its cost. Also, the USB port’s awkward position diminishes convenience, and app UI issues further exact a price—settling it in C, just barely.
