The user can extract the extended public key (xpub) directly from the SATA card by supporting various script types—native SegWit, nested SegWit, and legacy—via the seed signer interface. This xpub can then be imported into wallet applications like Sparrow, establishing a secure link between the hardware wallet and software.
During pairing, the smart card's xpub is verified, and addresses are confirmed to avoid errors, ensuring a trustworthy connection. Transaction workflows can now proceed with zero reliance on the private keys stored locally.
