Before diving into production, it’s essential to configure your preferences like a professional.
- Audio Settings:
- Access preferences by pressing - Command + ,or through the Live settings.
- Ensure your audio input and output devices are correctly set to your audio interface (for example, Apollo Twin). 
- Choose a sample rate. For most records, 44.1 kHz is sufficient, but 48 kHz is also a good option. 
- Recording Settings:
- In the - File/Foldertab, turn off- Create Analysis File.
- For - Record/Warp/Launch, ensure the warp mode for one-shot samples is off and consider leaving auto-warp for longer samples on.
- Display Settings:
- Adjust zoom settings according to your monitor size for better visibility.
