Part 9/15:
Gouta predicts that as AI and robotics eliminate scarcity, traditional capitalism based on limited resources and labor arbitrage will become obsolete. An economy of abundance might emerge, where goods and services cost mere cents to produce and environmental impact is minimized. In such a world, the competition that drives capitalism—striving for scarce resources—dissolves, leading to a possible shift towards UBI or other forms of social support. Yet, this raises ideological debates about the nature of fairness, ownership, and the distribution of wealth—effectively blending capitalism with socialism or even communism.
