Tyler’s initial steps were low-risk and resourceful. He rented his first stump grinder, a Bandit 2550 with a 50-horsepower diesel engine, along with a 14-foot dump bed trailer. He did not purchase expensive equipment outright but rented equipment as needed, keeping costs manageable. His first months were spent learning the craft, often viewing YouTube tutorials and doing hands-on practice when possible.
