The construction started by transferring the cardboard template onto ABS plastic, which was then cut to size. A channel was cut down the center of the main piece to serve as the snorkel’s core. A strip of ABS plastic was used to create a circular hole at the base of this channel, intended to house a fan.
To ensure adequate adhesion, the smooth side of the ABS was lightly sanded. A heat gun was used to bend the edges of the strip, forming a snug fit against the main body. The strip was then glued and secured with tiny screws for stability. These components combined formed the primary tube of the snorkel system.
