The next step was to install a fan inside the snorkel. The creator harvested blower fans from an old MacBook, which draw air from both sides and push it downward. If one lacks access to these, similar small USB-powered fans with variable speeds are available on Amazon.
By cutting the connector off the fan and connecting it to a USB cable, they powered the fan on a trial basis, ensuring the wiring was correct by momentarily connecting to a battery. To enhance stealth, a layer of electrical tape was considered to cover one side of the fan, directing air and preventing unwanted light from passing through.
