To incorporate storage, the creator sewed elastic edging onto mesh pockets, forming compartments that could hold small items. These pockets were attached to the window cover using drilled slots and small screws, with elastic cords threaded through holes around the perimeter to secure the pockets tightly in place. The storage design included a large pocket for batteries and a smaller one for miscellaneous items, making efficient use of the space.
Final Assembly and Functionality
The completed system allows air to be drawn in through the small cracked window, pass down the snorkel tube, and exit via the fan, creating active ventilation inside the vehicle. The intake is positioned under the rain guard, preventing water ingress while maximizing airflow.
