Jesus modeled healthy boundaries, withdrawing to pray and recharge in Luke 5:16. Protecting your energy isn’t selfish; it’s essential for spiritual warfare. An exhausted spirit hampers discernment, invites burnout, and opens doors to the enemy’s schemes. Serving others is holy, but it becomes idolatry if it empties you or sustains those who refuse accountability.
