Dr. Edwin Kats and Ellen Bogan: From American Eugenics to Nazi Collaboration

One key figure bridging American eugenics and Nazi ideology was Dr. Edwin Kats and Ellen Bogan, a psychologist and psychiatrist associated with the eugenics movement. Originally from what is now Poland, with partial Jewish ancestry, Kats and Ellen Bogan studied medicine in Europe, including Germany, before emigrating to the U.S. in 1907.
