Part 13/17:
He actively supported the Nazi racial policies, including identifying suitable candidates for "Germanization" and advising on who should be euthanized or selected for special treatment based on eugenic criteria. During his incarceration, he oversaw experiments involving lethal injections, castration, hormone treatments, and dissections—all explicitly eugenic in intent.
His cooperation extended to testifying about the mental states of prisoners and assisting the Nazi medical experiments at the infamous Auschwitz subcamp of Buchenwald, where thousands perished. Some reports suggest he was responsible for the deaths of as many as a thousand prisoners, mostly through lethal injections and experiments.
