Practical Ethical Framework
To be a good Stoic is to recognize that everything is interconnected—everything partakes in the divine logos. Living virtuously entails:
Accepting inevitabilities like death and misfortune,
Cultivating inner virtues such as wisdom, justice, and moderation,
Recognizing that material possessions, reputation, and pleasure are indifferents, or second-order goods,
Focusing on moral improvement and aligning oneself with the natural order.
