Life’s inherent tragedy—our biological vulnerabilities, mortality, and societal oppression—gives life its negative meaning. However, this doesn't lead to nihilism, which suggests life is meaningless. Instead, recognizing life's challenges motivates us to find purpose through goal-directed activity.
