The Inner Personalities: Anger, Normal Self, and Dangerous Shadows
Our internal landscape includes various partial personalities, especially those rooted in primary emotional responses such as anger. The "angry self" is often rigid, impulsive, shortsighted, and driven by the need to be right. Under normal circumstances, this part recedes, leaving the so-called "normal self" to function in daily life, often shockingly unaware of how aggressive or irrational their anger can become when unchecked.
