Several other names of interest could emerge in the coming years as the Mets look to fill gaps at third base and first base:
Boston Barrow: A recent eighth-round pick in 2023, he performed well in his debut season and is a name to watch as he transitions into a starting role in high A.
Jacob Rymer: Although injuries hampered his previous season, Rymer still has a high on-base percentage and shows promise for further development.
Nick Laruso: As a seasoned college bat, Laruso showed significant power in the minors. His future may not be secured, but he offers the potential for offensive contributions in the next few seasons.
