Regional Sports Networks Coming to YouTube TV and Hulu
In a move that could please sports fans, it's been reported that regional sports networks (RSNs) may be making a comeback on platforms like YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV.
Specifically, a new RSN called Rip City TV Network is set to launch in 2025, providing coverage of the Portland Trail Blazers games. This network is expected to be available on both YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV.
RSNs have been a point of contention for live TV streaming services, as they are often among the most expensive channels to carry. Many platforms have had to drop RSNs in the past due to the high costs. However, this latest development suggests that some RSNs may be finding a way back onto these services.
