Astronomy photographer Andrew McCarthy recounts the sheer emotion of witnessing the previous Starship launch, where the booster was caught by the Chopsticks in a feat that seemed straight out of science fiction. "It was overwhelming," he says, "because I felt like in that moment, I knew we were going to Mars."
