Part 5/9:
Mercedes is developing its next-generation electric vehicles to achieve Lucid Air-like levels of efficiency. The first model will be the CLA sedan, followed by a station wagon and two SUVs. These vehicles will use an 800V electrical system, a new in-house developed drive unit, and battery packs with up to 85 kWh of capacity and over 750 km of range. They will also feature a hybrid setup with a turbocharged 1.5L engine and a 20 kW electric motor.
