This diversification means that Taiwan is not the sole linchpin of the supply chain. Components and materials come from various locations, including lasers from California, lenses from Germany, and silicon from North Carolina. While Taiwan's TSMC is a significant player, the supply chain is not centralized in a way that would make it vulnerable to a single point of failure.
