With the arrival of humans, a pivotal question arises: how did these early inhabitants coexist with such fearsome creatures? Research suggests that humans lived alongside megafauna for anywhere between 10,000 to 30,000 years. The key to their survival lay in their ability to hunt sustainably and adapt to their environment filled with threats such as the freshwater crocodile, dubbed as the "Swamp King", and the thylacoleo, a marsupial lion with powerful jaws designed for tearing into flesh.
