The Cherry Exceed Ster crash test is not an isolated example. Other Chinese-made EVs, such as the Xpeng G9 and the Zeekr 001, have also demonstrated impressive crash safety ratings. In fact, the G9 was highlighted as one of the safest cars globally in benchmark tests, consistent with the safety records of leading EVs like Tesla’s Model 3 and Model S.
