Despite recruiting a diverse array of women from different backgrounds, the speaker found it remarkably challenging to identify traditional women. Out of a thousand interviews, only three women exemplified what the speaker considered genuinely traditional values—prioritizing family over career and embodying characteristics associated with traditional femininity. This contrasted sharply with the notion that one could find a "good woman" through conventional channels, such as attending church.
Moreover, the common argument that women in conservative environments would be more traditional did not hold up, as many professional women expressed viewpoints contradictory to those conservative ideals.
