Part 2/9:
Amin's early life remains a subject of debate. He was widely believed to be born near Kaboko in Uganda, rather than in Kampala, the capital, where many narratives have situated his origins. The background of his family is equally murky. His father, Andreas Niir, was allegedly a member of the Kakwa ethnic group, and the circumstances surrounding his family's heritage seem to straddle various cultural narratives. His mother, Assa Ate, may have been of either Kaka or Lugbara descent, further adding complexity to Amin's identity.
