With the Egyptian front subdued and Jordan reeling from its losses, Israel turned its focus to Syria, which had begun attacks on the Golan Heights. Utilizing previously acquired intelligence and experience gained during the conflict, Israeli forces launched a successful offensive that effectively dismantled Syrian artillery positions and further expanded Israeli territorial control.
By June 10, a ceasefire was achieved, bringing an end to hostilities. The scale of casualties varied, but the conflict had a tremendous impact on the military and political dynamics of the region.
