By the 1990s, Jägermeister had embedded itself deeply in the American drinking culture, partly due to the creation of the Jäger Bomb. Despite not officially endorsing the drink, its popularity grew rapidly, and with it, Jägermeister's market share flourished. However, as competition increased with the rise of flavored spirits, Jägermeister itself needed to evolve.
