Part 4/7:

Flavors of the Southwest and Beyond

Moving into the Southwest, we encountered New Mexico’s green chili cheeseburger, receiving an A for its rich, flavorful toppings. Wisconsin's fried cheese curds were declared an automatic S, reflecting their universal appeal.

West Virginia presented the pepperoni roll, while North Carolina’s pulled pork sandwich had an overwhelmingly positive reception in the B tier. Meanwhile, Hawaii's Spam musubi harmonized well, earning an A, as did Wyoming’s elk steak, which unfortunately landed in the D tier.

The Iconic Southern Dishes

Louisiana's gumbo was celebrated for its rich history and flavors, earning an S tier, and Mississippi’s fried catfish found a comfortable home in the B tier.
