Part 4/10:
Enter Ray Kroc, a struggling milkshake machine salesman who stumbled upon the McDonald brothers' restaurant in San Bernardino, California. Kroc saw the potential in their business model and reached out to the brothers with an entrepreneurial pitch to franchise McDonald’s on a grand scale. At the age of 52, Kroc began transforming the franchise operation, ultimately catalyzing the nationwide expansion of McDonald's.
Kroc established McDonald's System Incorporated, wherein he would oversee the opening of multiple McDonald's outlets across America, albeit while facing substantial challenges with the McDonald brothers who were hesitant about rapid growth and changes to their operational model.
