Colonel Sanders’ childhood was marked by hardship. Following the death of his father when he was just five years old, Sanders was left to care for his siblings, developing cooking skills from a young age out of necessity. He dropped out of school in the seventh grade and resisted formal education, famously expressing his disdain for mathematics.
His early adulthood was marked by instability, working in various odd jobs and experiencing frequent firings. In an unexpected twist, he even dabbled in obstetrics, inadvertently becoming a part of a life-and-death scenario during a delivery.
