Euker's charisma extended well beyond the baseball field. His comedic prowess brought him fame through commercials such as the memorable "light beer from Miller," as well as roles in movies like Major League where he played the comically inept announcer Harry Doyle. Yet, Euker's professionalism as a baseball announcer remained at the forefront of his legacy. Costas pointed out that even if Euker had never cracked a joke, his knowledge and excitement for the game made him an exceptional broadcaster.
