The core of the work involves the complex relationship between cuts and fills. Excavating to remove dirt where it's needed and relocating it to fill areas can be challenging, particularly given the accelerated timeline for this project. Even while the excavation phase was only 12% complete, building construction had commenced on the site.
With over 24 million cubic yards of earth to move, the project is halfway through its excavation phase, with 12 million yards already shifted. This operation is set to move an astonishing 75,000 yards of earth daily.
