Transporting the elements to the construction site is no simple task. Each project requires an impressive logistical effort, with over 70 individual transportations to deliver the various components of the crawler crane alone—some of which qualify as oversized heavy-duty transports. This elaborate operation can often take days to meticulously plan and execute.

Following the transportation phase, the assembly of cranes begins. In this particular endeavor, a 230-ton Liebherr telescopic crane, known as the LTM 1230, is the first to be set up. Once on site, it takes less than thirty minutes to prepare the mobile crane for use, carefully managing the counterweight transport to comply with the maximum permitted axle load of 12 tons.
