A significant question here is whether AI will develop emotions or consciousness akin to humans. Currently, there is no evidence suggesting that AI possesses its own feelings. However, as humans establish emotional attachments to AI, there is a possibility that society might begin to treat these entities as sentient beings deserving of rights, similar to corporations which are considered legal persons in the U.S.
